Default Evo to gryphon

I tried the search function with no direct answer and Google was no help either. I know it is now free and done online to convert the edge evolution to the PHP gryphon. I have downloaded Pegasus just need a walk through on how to actually change it over I should be ordering my custom tune on Friday. Any suggestions on what is the best tune? My mods are just a CAI and muffler in place of the stock one I plan on hi flows and true duals here in the next couple months also thought about a jet MAF sensor what do yall think?

How do they convert your Evo into a Gryphon online...and I really don’t think it’s free now...PHP would be out of business ....

It is free to upgrade to a gryphon from evo online now. You download Pegasus and then convert it.

There was at one time a requirement to ship it into PHP, I think it actually had to do with changing the case and labels because edge was CARB compliant and the Gryphon wasn't.

Call PHP to get a final answer and go from there, they will also answer any questions you have. I have a Gryphon but I didnt' do the Evo to Gryphon upgrade. I knew I was going with PHP eventually for my Tunes so I just bought my Gryphon via PHP along with the Custom Tunes. As for the best tunes, that is up to each individual on what they are wanting. They have a pretty detailed explanation of their different Custom Tunes on their website. I asked that very same question when I called them in the beginning. I was told the most common asked for is the 87 Tow Tune, 87 Performance Tune and the 93 Performance Tune. Obviously they have other choices/combinations of whatever you want. I rarely use any other tune then the 87 tow as my all around driver both on and offroad, so to say. What I had to do was buy the Gryphon with their canned tunes and wait for them to write my custom tunes, when the Custom Tunes were ready, I got an email letting me know. I hooked up the Gryphon to my computer and followed the onscreen directions. Very simple process. You will enjoy your Gryphon

So I have an edge Evo on my 06 that has custom tunes from PHP. I remember having to download Pegasus to install the custom tunes but I didn't have to convert it to a Gryphon. It still says edge when it powers on. So there is no advantage or need for me to convert it to a gryphon now right.
