Ethanol
Well considering ethanol is straight alcohol you're going to be running hotter than gasoline would and that's not good if your engine is stock. You would need to to replace your internals with performance parts that can handle the hotter tolerance, i.e. Forged pistons, etc. So long story short, I wouldn't.
As long as it is E85 it shouldn't. Thats what the truck was designed to run on besides gasoline. Plus there's 10% ethanol at most gas stations nowadays. It's just the flex fuels are designed to handle that 5% more. Hope this helps

Vehicles that are not set up to run the high content of corn fuel (ethanol) meaning flex fuel type vehicles, will not do well with the stuff. It will cause the engine to run hotter with lean conditions. The way I understand it, E85 means 85 percent ethanol, and 15 percent gasoline.
If you have a flex fuel equipped engine. Your fine. Read your owners manual, as it describes the flex fuel topic there.
