Also go to ford.com and at the bottom
Of the page click on services. There you can put in your vehicle and it will pull up everything from you VIN number. Ford has a recall on all injectors in some late model ford F150"s. That site will yell you if your truck has any recalls. I had mine replaced due to this recall. It's one of those secret recalls that they don't send you anything in the mail but when you take it in they will tell you about.

Hi, i don't think that applies for canada though? i tried it and there wasn't any option to select any provinces in canada. www.ford.ca has nothing too i believe.

Could you teach me in detail about replacing injectors? It sounds like a big diesel truck, way way louder than a powerstroke f350. I will try to do an actual video on my truck later on.

i have noisy injectors too, been diagnosed by 4 different garages. i hate putting my passenger window down... and my flowmaster doesnt cover up the noise enough imo. but i was also told that injectors are built to ford's specs, so no matter what manufacturer you choose for injectors they will be like the loud factory ones. i guess an aftermarket, bigger injector would be quiet but mpg's would go down and might not run right if its a mainly stock engine. any guys have feedback on this? if i can figure out a way to quiet up my injectors id be a happy guy!

I managed to get the asswipe to fix my manifold, and yeah he refused to buy a new manifold so he did some welding on it. There is still some noises coming from the exhaust manifold but it is very very faint, you'd have to pay attention to it if you wanna hear it. But oh well at least its better than nothing since it is my fault for not checking the truck properly before buying it.

Anyways, about the tapping noise and you guys mentioned it could be the injectors:
I did an oil change to synthetic, and use an STP injector cleaner and poured it in with my gas. The tapping is still there and really annoying me. Is it hard to replace injectors? Is that something i should leave to a professional to replace?

Please advise, thank you and keep in touch guys!
04-06 5.4 3V= Loudest engine ever!!! The ****ing injectors and cam phasers are just noisy as hell and you basically have to learn to live with the noise. There's no point in fixing something that isn't even broke correct?

Oh so its really normal then? Damn, i wished the injectors could be quiter though lol. My mechanic even said that it is normal for trucks to make them noises.
