Whipple makes a 3.4L for the same price as KB's setup. OP: If I were you'd i'd find a totaled gt500 and pull the motor from that or am 03-04 cobra since the bottom ends are forged and whipple it or twin turbo. You could swap in a diesel and put a huge turbo on it also...I saw a thing somewhere a few months back about dragging diesel trucks and the 1/4 mile times they got were sometimes down in the 12's, then they'd drive home and get killer mpg...just a thought...I'd also suggest a smaller set of wheels and bigger meats out back so you get the most out of your rwhp. What trans you looking at buying? What 1/4 mile times are you looking for also?

It's all cool! What about the wiring? And the emissions? Will you be able to make all that work?

Where are you located? If you don't have too tough of emissions testing you could get by with hi-flow cats and long tube headers. The mustang crowd that I'm in also, people are getting 550rwhp with CAI and pulley swaps. With a custom exhaust, the CAI swap and pulley changes you'd have a killer setup. http://www.lethalperformance.com/, http://www.evoperform.com/shop/, and http://blowbyracing.com/ are some great places to get started modding that motor!
