try removing the plug and try to crank it. It probably is hydrolocked but perhaps no damage. Removing the plug will get the fuel from the old dripper out the plug hole.

And here I thought I lost out because I didn't get a 5.4. My little 4.6 sounds better and better everyday. Are all these engines Crap? I've had 5 4.6 engines. Mostly mustangs. I've never had one complaint.

I Appreciate all the responses so far.

Pulled the plugs and valve covers today and she still won't budge.
Valves appear to be intact. This blows my mind. It all happened so fast.

Keep the ideas coming...

if it wont budge with the plugs pulled you got some major issues.... you could try rolling it over backwards... but prolly no need to... but it might be worth it...

You never know it could have been hydro locked.. and when you tried to start it maybe the starter got binded... and if you roll it over backwards it might kick the start out and .. you could possibly fire it up and run forever... ... heh..far fetched..but possible

It takes alot of liquid to cause hydro-lock. I've had older engines on older cars sieze because the starter got stuck on the flywheel. Somtimes you can tap the starter with a hammer or take the starter off and put it back on again. Don't know if the 5.4 does it though.

OK... I have tried to spin it in each direction to no avail. Starter is working properly and engaging the flywheel. The Local mechanic who took the time to listen to everything that happened thinks that the Crank has seized due to Gas in the oil.
At this point I'm just trying to understand what could have happened.
All of your suggestions seem to point in one direction.

yeah. i think you are going to have to do a swap. i bet it will be alot cheaper to do that than to do a rebuild. check your local yards. they might have something or you can get a crate motor for around $5k i hear. Personally id go w/ the crate motor because atleast it comes w/ a warranty.....sorry to hear of the loss.

quick google search found this:
