Default engine light

So I just installed a new exhaust where I removed the cats, but still put the o2 sensors back on. But now the engine light is on, guessing because of the sensors, any ideas on how I can fix this issue?

Ya I tried to do it with my programmer but it would just give Me a error. I'll head up to my buddies who had a tool to read the code.

Well if you removed the cats and put the o2 sensor back in of course its going to throw a cel. Did you do the gotts mod or just throw it back in? The O2 sensor is is there to analyze cat efficiency. With no cat there the PCM thinks something is wrong. Assuming you are referring to the rear sensor.

That would explain your CEL then. You will have to get your truck tuned in order to get rid of that CEL.

The purpose of the o2 gotts mod is so the pcm will not throw a CEL. Get the codes, could be something completely unrelated. Tuner is another option, they will just turn off that function in the pcm. Hope you don't have emissions testing where you live
