Unhappy Engine Hesitation

I have a 2007 Ford F150 with 5.4 Liter engine. It has about a 160,00 miles logged. I have this problem when driving between 50 to 60 Miles per hour if I try to accelerate the engine hesitate or jerks until I further depress the gas pedal then it will stop. Anyone had this problem and can help me know what I need to get fixed or repaired.

Have the plugs and boots ever been changed?

Recheck the torque on the plugs to make sure they don't back out. Any codes? Any fuel injection maintenance done? ie, fuel filter, carbon cleaning, TB cleaning?

Did you grease the springs when you reinstalled everything? Did the springs/boots get replaced?

Is the FPDM corroded?

Is the fuel filter good?

I have a 2006 with a 5.4ltr. with 135,000 miles
I had the same problem and gave no codes.
I replaced all of the COP's and the problem went away

Default Cop =coil on plugs

The PCM sends low volts/signal to the coil on top of plug, kicking coil to produce 30,000 volts thru boot and spring to top of spark plug . Each and every spark plug has its own coil . PCM =powertrain control module mounted on passenger side firewall . It about decides everything on the truck .

Possibly a bad spot on your APP SENSOR ( accelerator pedal position sensor.)
