Default Engine Coolant

Is Valvoline Antifreeze: Zerex G-05 the same stuff as Motorcraft Premium Gold ? My coolant level is just below the 'add' line so I'm looking for some coolant.

Owners manual says to use Motorcraft which of course is only available from Ford. Zerex G-05 is available at my local auto parts store.

The only two types that I know of that are compatible is the Zerex and Amsoil. The all types might be but I'm not certain.

I don't think there is a pre-mix available for our trucks.

Yep. Depending on how much is needed you may need some distilled water too.

Thanks, I'll pick some up tomorrow. I did see where there is a premix 50/50 of the Zerex, I'll try to find it, if not I'll get some distilled water.
