Default emission testing

I live in Michigan and have never had to do any emission testing with my truck, I plan on going to either Florida, Texas, or Wyoming for school to attend wyotech. I wanted to know if anyone knew of these three states test for emissions. Thanks for any help!

Born and raised in Wyoming and as far as laws out here that reside with emissions and modding are existent but aren't reinforced. I've never had to get an emissions test on my truck nor have my parents on either of their vehicles. WyoTech is a great school and I have had a lot of friends go there instead of UTI for things like Diesel Tech and Rebuilding Classes.

Just keep it registered in your state and you will be good no matter where you go.

No testing required in Florida except for the Boca Raton area (south Florida) area.

Unless you removed your cats (Federal law that over rules any state inspection), you would be alright anyway, right?

Be careful with this! I was "temporarily" assigned to the Dallas area for about a year. The Dallas police would drive through apartment and subdivision areas looking for out of state plates. They would issue "30 day warnings to comply", meaning that if you were working/living in the state/county, you were required to have plates, and in most cases, a drivers liciense from that state.

Check out if attending a school is exempt. It should be.
