electronics question, fuel, oil press, gauges gone wacko!

electronics question, fuel, oil press, gauges gone wacko!
Haven't been on here in forever, tried to find similar topic, so sorry in advance if i missed it....
couple years ago, oil pressure gauge stopped working; then fuel gauge, battery charge, and.... took to a shop, they exchanged the oil pressure switch; did absolutely nothing....
anyone familiar with this problem?? started out with brake light warning light, then check engine light, seems so random.... at different times, fuel gauge shows totally random pictures, over-full, full, anywhere in the middle to totally empty; i have to use odometer religiously to keep from running out! lol
mine's an '04, love the 'ol girl, just wondering if this might have a simple answer?
