Hi, I just fixed my electrical problem in my driver door. I read on one thread a big black wire was broken causing all the switches to stop working intermittently. I finally pulled the wiring harness completely out of the door and saw a big black wire was badly damaged right in the door boot area coming from the body. I cut and but spliced it and now everything works perfectly. I think the wires in that moving area tend to get damaged from the door movement. I tried looking at the wires before but couldn't see it till I pulled them completely out. Hope this helps!

Thought I had it fixed!! rear driver door, found the purple wire, found the factory splice, opened the tape up and corroded like crazy, re spliced, taped back up, didn't fix it.

I also had a bunch of water in the tray where the wires lay. Probably my 4 year old not closing door all the way and it getting rained/snowed on! Super right!

Going to have to follow wire all the back and forth I guess.

My problem is the radio won't turn off when I go to get out of truck. I have no dome light when opening any of the 4 doors.

any suggestions I'll take them

Wires break in the door jamb harness on these from time to time. Just a thought.
