Default Electrical issue, Please Help

I have a 2006 F150 FX4 CrewCab. Yesterday when my wife went to start the truck, the engine tried to start over then died. Then when I tried it, the engine made no sounds. But when looking at the dash while trying to start it, the airbag light was blinking really quick and a ticking noise was resonating from the behind the rear seat on the drivers side. At least that's where it sounded like it was coming from. I'm hoping this is not more than a battery issue. Anyone with ideas, or has experienced this before, anything will help. Thanks

Unfortunately I don't have a voltage meter. So I ended up takin the battery to O'Reillys to see if it was bad. Well the battery was dead, so now I'm going to take the truck to check the alternator just as a precaution.

It just threw me off because I never heard clicking noise come from the rear seat. I thought a short in the security box that's located back there, shorted the whole system

Yeah it was a motorcraft batt that came with the truck when I bought it last November. So I replaced it and everything seems fine
