Default Electric start issue

My girlfriend had it snarled for Xmas and it's worked fine. This morning I hit the key pad and started it then drove to work but when I turned the key to shut it off it wouldn't shut off so I had to to double click the keypad

By snarled do you mean installed? Mine ghost starts and starts when I disc and reconnect the battery. Has it done it since then. Make sure you didn't accidentally disrupt any wires with your foot. These things can be a pain because of all of the wiring but I would poke around a little or take it to the installer and get them to look at it

Take it back to the installer and let them figure it out. I would not touch anything.

I did have my neg. terminal disconnected while cleaning my TB,MAF and changing my k&n filter. I wonder if there's some kind of anti theft trigger on it or something. I just tried it 3 more times and key wouldn't turn it off after elec start. I can turn the truck on with the key and turn it back off with the key.

I figured out that if you electrically start it and put the key in, you can turn the key back and forth and it will stay running...... Until you press the brake then turn the key off the engine will shut off. Unless I'm hallucinating I could have sworn when I pulled up to work and turned the key off that it stayed running until I double pressed the keypad.

Mine won't run I think if I try to turn the key because its on some kind of timer. I always get in and hit the brake which shuts if off and then restart it with the key. hopefully you figured it out. I was unaware that you could drive it after you remote started it and put the key in. they are probably all different
