Default Electric Cutouts?!

I'm looking into new exhaust after I replace my plugs/cops here in the next few weeks. I am thinking about running electric cutouts on my exhaust to switch between the stock setup (or similar one) and a true dual setup with Flowmaster 40's or a DI/DO 10 series. Anyone done something like this? Any ideas?

To answer the question before I get asked. I would do this because if I take this truck on vacation or the 100 mile trip to/from our condo on the beach, I could switch to the quieter exhaust and not have to listen to the thing the whole way.

Are you going to run a cutout that just dumps after the valve?

Check you local laws.... I was gonna do the same and we aren't legally allowed to run cut outs here.

I was thinking about adding an electric cutout, but after reading from people who have done it, I'm not going to. Most of them said they wouldn't do it again.
Reasons being that after time, the cutout wouldn't completely close like it was supposed to and also having it quit working on them. It sounds really nice and isn't a bad idea, but I wouldn't be up for replacing it once every year, even if it is under warranty.

That's why if you use your cut out a lot go old school and do a plate with a few bolts. If you rarely use it then the electric might be fine.
