How's your fuel economy affected when you advance the timing?

 

I didn't see A difference but I really dnt pay much mind . Any mod I do to my truck I'm just looking for power even if it means worse gas mileage lol. I dnt have a custom #2 tune yet but I've been emailing php and they said there 83 custom tune adds hp and shift firmness . I'm thinking it's going to be like edges #1 setting with a little hp gain. Witch I think I would very much like

Would an edge evolution for the 97-03 4.6/5.4 work on our 04-08 trucks with the 5.4?

 

Not the Evolution. 97-03 5.4 is a 2 valve (2 exhaust valves per cylinder). 04-08 is a 3 valve. The CS and CTS can be used across multiple makes and models.

Okay listen guys, I have been getting bombed with private messages, visitor messages, etc. I cant answer them all. If you choose not to convert to a Gryphon and run Edge canned tunes, you just need to figure it out for yourself. Trial and error. What works best for my truck may not be the best for yours (I have posted my settings several times, only to be asked over and over what they are). Adjust settings in small increments. If you want the most power at the safest level possible, then convert to a Gryphon and order some custom tunes from PHP. Not trying to be rude, but sometimes you have to put on your big boy pants and do your own research like the rest of us. Reading and researching is your best friend. The internet is LOADED with answers to almost all the questions I get on a daily basis. So get in your truck and start adjusting settings and get er done! I am staying out of the tuner threads for a while. Peace

 

Who cares gas this low not to be rude and my truck does 18 all day long at wot which is most of the time I get 16mpg Hand calculated and my edge is off 1.5 consistently high
