Default beach bum

I live in south florida, and have been looking around for a good beach place to go out and have some fun. Is that place all flat (like the rest of florida), or are there any dunes of anything like that to crawl around on. Basically, is it worth making the trip (a few hours for sure)? I went out with some buddys of mine in Fort Pierce near their school, and ended up pulling one of their jeeps out like 5 or 6 times. Sugar sand is fun. Anyway, thanks for the info and advice.

Hugenot Park is a nice area and it does have dunes (some are 20ft tall). But those dunes are off limits to even walkers. I guess theyre trying to preserve them or something. The park is also has camping grounds and you can fish pretty much anywhere, so there are a lot of people who come out there. But its not a designated 4x4/off-roading park so I doubt a trip all the way up here will be worth it.

I was looking at some information and pictures of the place online - can you camp right there on the beach, or is it restricted to the camping areas (off the beach)? I have a nice little setup that fits in the bed of my truck, so anywhere I park is my campsite. I am thinking about bringing my girl and going for a day or two - I think it would be worth the drive. Thanks again.
