I havent really posted many pics of my truck, now a month in my possession. But I went to Hugenot Park (its in N. Fla) and here are a few pics. I was soo proud of the fact that I had a vehicle with 4x4 so I can go in the 'BIG boy' section! I wish I had a tow strap because I couldve at least paid for gas helping others out.

Oh...and I decided to call her Effie.

It's the only beach near Jacksonville that I know of where you can drive on the beach!

The truck has been an AWESOME tool to have at the beach! The retractable Tonneau cover lets me lock my bike & other stuff in the bed. And keypad allows me to lock my keys & valuables in the truck. Tailgate is a nice bench seat for me since I'm tall. I'm loving this truck-thing!

What do you mean "big boy" section. Even though my truck has a slight advantage (locker in rear) I dont think I would have one problem getting through any of that. That being said, sexy truck and niccceeee pictures.

Some 2wd vehicles realized why you need 4x4 (or at least AT tires or better). I saw a Cadillac Escalade pull out a Dodge Ram 1500 after 10min of the back & forth. The 'slade had 22" rims...LOL!

And the pics were taken with my Palm Pre! Wish I wouldve brought my Canon Xs! Once I get my replacement emblems, I will take some 'vanity' photos.

In a 2WD its better to "glide" over basically what ever you go though. So basically stay away from M/T's cause your going to dig yourself in. Since I always have two wheels pushing me beaches and sand is no problem, like sand pits which is 10x worse than that. Just last Saturday I was water crossing and going through some nasty crap to pull some people out and all the gas I wasted I feel your pain! I Keep a tow strap under my bench seat.

if you have any off road experience you can make it in and out of beach sand farily easily. and a locker definitly helps. but most people will feel there tires start slipping and gun it which is a quick way to drop yer frame on the sand. :whistling2:

Deffentially, people freak out, I just keep letting them slip it wont hurt anything, just try to keep the RPMS low and steady.

I will keep these tips in mind. But the area that I was able to traverse was NOT for 2WD folks. Its just a long area of soft sand. People were getting like 30-50yards, and you can see their rear progressively drop. And the sand is soft everywhere, especially around the shore. So once they stop and get out to fish or whatever, they have to get started again.

I need replacement tires in the near future, and I was going to get something street-biased. But now, I am going to look at keeping something like what came on the truck just to have that ability every now and then.
