Edge running wrong gear

Just to follow up because iv been trying everything to figure this out because i needed to know if i gave php the wrong info for my tunes but i put the truck back to stock took off the programmer plugged it back in after goin stock for a bit and when i went to program it the first time again i went into gear ratio and it said 3.55 which is what i thought so i think iv cleared my issue and can rest my mind finally

Nevermind damnit now i went back and looked at the previous settings for when the edge made the trucks file and it says 3.73 holy crap im about to go crazy it makes me wonder if someone changed the gear and had the pcm flashed before i owned it.....now im gonna go bang my head against a wall for a while

It's possible they did have it reflashed, have you tried driving it with the 3.73 setting? That is weird for it to change.

Does it drive fine on stock? Maybe just leave it as a stock tune and drive it, do not change or view any settings. Of that doesn't work contact edge and see what they say todo.

Also I see you are running different tires, have you programmed the new circumference into the edge as well? The wrong tire gear ratio combo could cause the issue you had too. I don't remember the formula off hand sorry!

Yeah ive programmed the tire size and all that im gonna call the ford house and figure this out monday aswell as call edge preciate it.

That's cool, it's been awhile since I read the manual, I thought it said it read them. I lucked out then. Thanks for sharing man.

You can always use the VIN to search the window sticker, to see what it says. They have the link in one of the stickies.

It does say that in the manual which i think they should change to cut down on confusion
