Default Edge programer

Is it worth my money? I have a 05 5.4 screw fx4 with 33x12.50x20

Next week I'll be installing my 8" RIZE and 37s

Gears will be in the near future for now I'll be running stock 3:73

So is it worth the $350?

Any pros and Cons ?
Or advice?
Model suggestions ?

Yes! Get it! Don't even think about it! You can get custom tunes later if u want as well. Only other good tuner is the SCT x3 but I have no experience with it.

The edge is the best Dollar per Horsepower investment you can make. Even by their conservative 35hp on level 3 untouched by the customizeable settings, that's $10/HP. Better than any CAI or Exhaust. And if you change up some of the parameters I can tell you it's more than 35HP, 50 wouldn't surprise me. This is on level 3 with 93 though remember.

It's also a gauge and Code reader though!! You don't just plug it in, load up your tune, and throw it back in the glove box. It does a lot for a great price and I always get compliments on how the pod makes it look stock.

I get 16mpg city with it too for reference, and you can see my mods below.

dude save for gears.

i just did 4.56s and i now get 16-17mpg with just the gears...

my gryphon is coming soon and should make it even better, but what im getting at is your programmer is no good when you have so much load on the engine from the gear ratio!!

my 35s and 3.73s were netting me 7-9mpg (city) and 11-12mpg (highway)...so brutal...cant even imagine how bad 37s with 3.73s would be!!

well i did a front e-locker and rear tru trac at the same time but my local guy matched the internet price for the gears (yukon) which is around 400 front/rear

install was 350 front and 250 rear

the shop i got it done at even bought my old 3.73s and diffs from me and knocked 200 off the install price...

around 800 for all...

i would probably do 4.88s with the 37s.
