So if I run 89 octane on the level 2 tow tune, would I be safe bumping the timing up to +1.0?

Hmmm possibly. You would likely see a misfire at WOT if it were a problem so just bump it down if you do see it.

I'll give it a try when I get my truck back and see what it does

89 Tow Tune
Shift Firmness: 12 for all gears
Standard Shift Points: Same
Torque Converter Standard Lock Points: -4 for 4th gear, -2 for 3rd gear
WOT Shift: 1-2:5300 2-3:5300 3-4:5000
WOT Fuel: 1.35
Timing: .5
Rev Limit: 5450
Did this and I like the power gain, but I have one small issue. My normal speeds are 25-35 and than 45-55 so right around 40-52 MPH if I let off the gas and then tap it again I get clunking and it sounds like it's shifting all over the place. If I go to stock setting that issue goes away. I'm not good enough with this to know what to change so please ! I feel like I'm harming my truck.
