when you program your truck. The cpu has to relearn the fuel trimmings. You said with your truck idles low, while it tries to relearn the idle it may of went too low and cut the engine. I would try a custom tune with a slightly higher idle. 500-600 rpm

Yep my first thought was idle. But made me a little nervous the first time it cut off. I was cutting into a church parking lot and there was a curve not too far in front of me, and I was facing incoming traffic because it cut off. Thankfully nobody came around the curve.

While I've been buying & installing parts here and there in prep for my tuner, I just picked up my Edge Evo CS today... I'm excited to get home & install it!!

Figure I'll give it a few months with the canned tunes then maybe hit up PHP to convert it to the GRYPHON and load up some custom tunes then!!

Just got my Edge Evo in the mail today. Rained all day but from what little I got to play with it the truck really seemed to wake up. Thanks for starting this thread. In the coming weeks I really want to start playing with the settings. Just have to see how it goes.

Ok so I should have my EVO in the truck today. I know the majority of you guys are running on level 2 all the time. I'm just curious of some of yall could tell me what else you've adjusted to get a little better mileage. Now I'm not expecting a ton of improvement but anything to get away from the 8.5-9.5 I'm getting now on 35s. I know this truck wasn't built for mileage I was just wondereing someone's tune for mileage and power a good balance of both

Really you should tinker with it yourself because i tried advice too but youll be happier with what you tinker to your liking you can always bring the shift value down on regular shift points to get to 4th quicker and remember the tire value is off to me because calculating mine shows to be 2563 but i got my speedo spot on by putting it to 2400 but yea all the adjustable options youll get comfortable with after you tinker with i always run on level 3 but thats just me ha good luck

Turn your TC lock points for 4th gear down that will help the most for city mileage.
