is there long term damage with custom settings. also what are the best settings for 05 5.4l. thanks for all the input.

Its getting really old seeing guys get called douche bags for directing others to search for an answer when thats what everyone should do before posting! If you dont find an answer then post!!!

Helping a member search isn't bad but just putting a picture of a search bar is a tool move, that doesn't help point them In the right direction at all.

Anyway,...

OP, that all depends on what the "custom settings" are. If you're talking about custom programs written by the manufacturer (like PHP), then the settings should not do any harm. If you are making your own adjustments, then things are different. The way you drive your truck will likely have more of an impact on durability than the settings in most cases.

Now, you guys can go back to shakin' yer peckers at each other in the parking lot. I know, I'm a douche bag.
