CTS = color touch screen and it will hold alot more tunes

Holds more tunes?! What you mean, so you can make your own tunes through the computer, save them, then open them up with your truck when connected to it?! Sorry, ima newbie to programmers

Haha no problem...it holds more custom tunes so you can store more custom tunes on it than the evo i think it holds like 20 and you can get custom tunes from powerhungryperformance dot com

on a used programmer after each use it becomes locked to that vehicle . thats why it needs to be unlocked . but i read that after doing 5 vehicles a master lock is imposed that only the manufacturer can remove, ie.. sending it to them. can any one elaborate on this, is it true or can you do it your self through fusion.

I would think if a master lock is imposed bill at php should be able to unlock it because he worked at or for edge for a bit and on the website it says order callibrations for a locked tuner

yeah I know they can unlock the master lock but read there was a charge for such. and for people looking at cheap used tuners (like myself) it puts more problems in the equation, especially if the person you are buying it from bought it used also. 95% of used programmers are probably good to buy used. but I would probably get one that has something that is going to cost me more in the end. so for that reason I will get a new programmer. unless some one can verify that the master lock can be reset for free or by my self by fusion . and if they reset it will it be done remotely or will some one have to send in their unit ie.. not free because of shipping...
