Default Edge EVO

Is an Edge EVO worth it? Knowing that the 2004-2008 tuning sucks. I can get one for 350$ brand new.. Thanks guys.

How Long would it take to recover your 350 in saved gas? If you looked at it just from an mpg perspective

To me its worth it. I got it to change shift points and improve off the line accelerator and it did both. I paid $242 shipped for a used one on ebay.

In my opinion the edge doesn't improve gas mileage at all. I've had mine for 4 months and my economy has stayed the same if not decreased slightly.
I mean it's worth the money if you want to wake the truck up a bit and change the horrible stock shift points, but the only thing I've found that saves me money on gas is not driving as much!

I was up in the air about it and I bit the bullet 2 weeks ago and bought one and was impressed haven't tried all of it yet but so far its worth it I bought mine 329. at streetside performance if you them watch they go up and down in price free shipping. I have seen it as low as 315. on that site you just have to catch themm at the right time

Look up power hungry performance on google. I think the website is gopowerhungry.com it's a man named bill that has previously mad tunes for ford and edge and now does custom tunes on the edge programmers. They are supposed to be better than the canned tunes that are on the edges.

I have had an Edge Evo programer for about 6 months now. I personally have not seen an increase in mileage, no matter what setting. On the defense of edge I did at the same time add a leveling kit and 295/70-18 nitto trail grapplers. Honestly the reason I added it was to get better performance and I got what I wished for.
