ECM Confusion
So I tried deflating all tires to 15lbs and under, and also tried unplugging driver side front cylinder coil, and could not get TPMS light or the CEL to come on. With that said, the tire light has been coming on and off in the recent past with temperature fluctuations. But so far, I cannot get it to throw a code right now
I have dealt with a vehicle (audi) where I battled a misfire, and also had multiple failed readiness tests. I just focused on the misfire, eventually fixed misfire. Took a while but all readiness eventually cleared up with no additional work.
? Did you (or will you) follow up with your mechanic ?
that’s good to hear, good job. Assume you Re still code free, it wonder if your readiness tests will eventually clear up. I have no idea if they will or not, but can echo what another poster said re: that they can take a lot of miles or driving cycles before they do clear (don’t know if anyone knows exactly what formulae is before they clear).

Am waiting for another couple hundred miles to hopefully see it clear before heading back to the mechanic for inspection. It was up back in May
