Cost me $87 at a dealer to purchase 2 keys, cut and program them, and they also pulled the door lock code for me. Local locksmith quoted me $200 for one key to be cut and programed. Other dealers in the area quoted me about $150 for one key. I guess its best to shop around.

Just bought my '05 F-150 XLT SCab and it only came with a single key. No FOB...nothing but one key. I researched replacement FOBs and keys. Ordered 2 FOBs from a great company on ebay and programmed them in a matter of minutes. Now on to the key programming. Both FOBs with batteries was only $9.99...Great deal, I think!
