Default Durabilty of plasti dip

I just purchased some plastidip to try on my polished gas tank door. I'm wondering how it holds up to washing the truck etc

i put some on my tailgate about 5 months ago, it has held up great where the metal/paint was scuffed up pretty good. since its on your paint and it isn't scuffed at all, it may wear off over time, but you can always repaint it.

If applied right its quite impressive. I have had it on my rims for half a year, count less power washes and lots of road salt this winter. The only damage to the coating is from when I got new tires put on. Have it on my grill and ford emblems as well, it doesn't like chrome quite so much, but its doing well! Just have to be careful with the wand when washing. Don't wash to close.
