Hello guys. I am new to the site. I really made a mess this past weekend while hauling some furniture for a friend in a trailer. I left my tailgate down in order to use the bed extender. My friend was backing up and the trailer tongue did a number on my tailgate. I have a 2008 F-150 4x4 SS CRW Lariat - Black Clearcoat with rear camera. Anyone have any ideas where I might find a used replacement gate at a reasonable price? Thanks!!

It is pretty bad (beyond repair). I did a quick check on Craigslist, but didn't see anything. I'll just keep looking. Thanks for the reply!

That happen to 2 of my buds which is why my tailgate is ALWAYS locked. I mean it takes only 10 seconds to take a tailgate off.

 

1. my tailgate is locked ALWAYS
2. quiet....she's sleeping in a locked garage
