I'm pretty sure I know whats going to happen when I turn the key....

That's some damn good advice right there. OP, you may want to think it over before turning the key.

Ive searched around a bit, I found the final repair guide for the cam phasers and tensioners but it doesnt really have detailed instructions on removing them. I have never taken the front covers off before. All I need to know is what tools I need and what else needs to come off to get the covers off. Thanks again you guys

That sucks man. I hate reading about crap like this. Nice easy job turned into something major and could be super expensive. Happens to all of us eventually though. Had something very similar happen to me while working on my jeep. I got lucky and it made it all the way to the pan. Hope you get it figured out if you haven't already.

I wouldn't recommend that at all.

We tried to take the cross member off today but those bolts are in there good! I'm going to pick up a impact wrench and air compressor from harbor freight or the PX on post tomorrow for sure. I could just use the auto craft shop for 2 bucks an hour but that would include paying to tow the truck.
If you ever plan on working on your truck yourself you should always have a set of quality air tools. Hope things turn out well and you get that bastard out. You should get a discount at the dealership for being in the Armed Forces.

No idea what to do, there is no way I can afford to pay the dealership 2K to fix it....
I'd be concerned about those plastic pieces myself. That is crazy!
