Interesting thread. I have the same issue in my truck. I'll be replacing the master switch sometime soon. It's been pretty bad lately, with having to rock the switches several times to get them to work. Good to hear the installation and replacement is easy. I have far too many projects on the go with my truck, and not enough time or money...

I had the same issue a couple years back. I actually just drove with the window down for a week or so, but in South GA in the spring/summer time it's not such a bright idea. After the inside of the cab got wet a couple of times I decided to buy a new switch box, after swapping with another F150 owner that I worked with just to make sure that it worked. None of the part stores Advance, Auto Zone, ect.... had one. So to the dealership I went. They charged me $60 for one, but as I walked in with the part in hand he asked '04-08 F150?' so clearly this is a common problem. So common in fact that the one I bought three years ago is going bad again. Anyway... the whole purose of this post is to say that your dealership is f'ing crazy over $130 for that? Mine onlly charged me a couple more bucks then what you paid.
