Default Drivers door rattles

Hi, my 2008 F150 driver door rattles and there seems to be more wind noise as well. The door latching doesn't seem to be adjustable. Does anyone have any suggestions? Surely I can't be the only one having this issue. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have heard something about changing the bumpers on the door.

There are several possible causes. Some have replaced the rubber bumpers on the door and that took care of it. Some have taken the door panel off and found a bolt missing that holds the window motor. They replaced it and all is good.

I just finally found the cause of mine but I am not sure what part it is yet. It looks like a track guide for the window. it is plastic and one of the tabs is broken allowing the window to move just enough to make a rattle.

I'm having the same issue. A piece of the rubber bumper has tore loose. I now have a lot more road noise as well as the draft. Does anyone know of a easy fix or would it just be easier to replace the whole thing? If replacing the entire thing, where would be the best place to get another one?

If its a super cab, sometimes the bottom latch of my 2nd door doesn't always catch. But I also had to modify the window track, came loose by by the power lock.

I have a super crew. This is not a rattle. If you look at the door from the outside you can see that it is not closed completely by a 1/4". It was not like that before. Even when you open the door from the inside there is no resistance on the handle, there was before. It's like the handle is doing nothing. It's time for me to complain to Ford. My passenger side is starting to do the same. Thanks for your suggestions. Every little bit helps.

Have you taken the door panel off yet? The rod that goes from the handle to the lock can pop out place. It runs thru a plastic guide, that may increase the play. It can also be bent.

I have had the panel off many times. The door rattles because it does not close like it use to. The pass door is starting to do the same. They just dont latch like they use to. It a shame nothing is adjustable like it use to be. I think it is the latching mechanism . Thanks for replying.
