Agree, but for $57 she's gonna get a new FPDM also. Without removing the module I can't see if there is or how much corrosion the might be.

I'm prepared to buy the sensor next however.

Thanks

Default Dorman has been a good one for me-- keep the old one .

Fuel rail pressure sensor reports to PCM . Pcm drives FPDM module , FPDM commands fuel pump .
It is good to get new FPDM on stand offs . But techrep is right it's more likely the rail sensor .
The PCM only sees what the rail sensor tells it ,no other sensor . PCM also controls fuel pump relay coil that just gives power permission thru crash sw for FPDM to do its job .

Thanks, I figure I can't go wrong with a new FPDM.

Like Redfish stated its good to have the new FPDM with the stand offs anyhow.. really not a waste of money. Good luck and keep us informed..

I took my good factory FPDM, painted the backside with rustoleum flat black and added 1/2" plastic washer stand-offs when I first got the truck. Still no issues on the original FPDM.

A great option if yours is still good, unlike mine that was corroded in half
