On , my 2004 f150 I have to open and close drivers door numerous times to get dome light and window switches to work. Any ideas?

 

My truck is having a similar issue except the windows still work. Just no dome light with the drivers door. I'd like to hear what they guys suggest on here..

 

That switch is in the latch itself. If it's sticking, you can try to spray some wd40 in it, and slam it a couple times to try and free it up.
As for the window switches not working, that sounds more like a broken wire, where the wires go from the door to the body, in that black boot looking thing. You are going to have to inspect the wiring real well.
