Flintlock isn't specifically a pistol. Could be a pistol, rifle or shotgun. Its all in how they're loaded. They have no firing pin like a traditional gun. You load the powder and a projectile in the barrel and pack it down. Then you load a small amount of powder in the pan when the trigger is pulled a flint moves forward and strikes a steel plate igniting the powder in the pan which ignites the powder in the barrel via a small hole in the barrel and boom! Its actually very simple, cool, and fun!

This rattle sounded like a "rod" hitting inside my door panel, so I took off the panel and looked back there to see what was up. Couldn't find one thing the made any noise. So then I scanned around the door and looked at all the bolts and screws (behind the door panel). Sure enough, there was one hole that had nothing in it. . . the bolt that holds the bottom of the window motor in place (which was hitting the frame on the inside of the door). So I got a small bolt, washer, and nut, then inch by inch tightened the nut to the bolt by hand (then with a gripper/wrench). Put everything back together, prayed, shut the door, and no stupid rattle! +1 for the boys back home

had the exact same thing happen to me last month....same bolt to LOL , it deffinatly, i have bit meat hooks so it was hard gettin my hand back there

What size screw did you use?
...

Need to know so I can steal one from work before i leave for the weekend.

Looks like a 10? Or is it metric?
Sorry, didn't really look at the size. I just grabbed one in anger. lol

But if it helps it was a phillips head bolt.

No. It rattled almost all the time. Mostly when I would hit a bump. 2004 (newer body)
