Default Door rattle

My passenger side doors (extra cab) rattle over bumps at the latch point at the top of the doors. I tried to adjust the catch on the body at the roof but found that the thing has no adjustment. How does one adjust a door latch on these trucks? Bend something?

mine did it too and i found out you just need to shut the door pretty hard!! my truck is a 2006 supercab xlt and if i dont shut the back doors pretty hard they rattle over every little bump cos i think they latch on the top and bottom so if they both dont latch totally it will rattle

I read somewhere about changing the bumb stops inside the door around; instead I stuck 2 rubber furniture pads (1 on each side) where the back door stops touch the frame and problem solved. This was only a real issue for me in cold weather, but we have been in the single digits a few times since and all is good.

Now that you mention it mine has been more annoying since it has been cold out. I leave for work at 430 AM it's usually in the teens or colder at that time.

Same issue here with both doors. Tried to tap the bottom latch with a hammer (like mentionned in an other tread) but didn't change anything.
Waiting for other experiences from other guys !
Thanks
