Default does anyone have experience with this?

I saw the link for FatBob's on this site, and I found this kit.

I am assuming the front part of the lift is the same thing as a 3" level kit (which I know isn't recomended) and just an aal for the back. I think it's simple enough but has anyone else tried it or know of someone who has. Thanks

I installed this kit on my truck (06 f150 xlt) The only problems I encountered when installing were the stock pins that hold the leafpack together come apart difficult. Solution just cut the pins. Secondly you need crazy big sockets to get the front end apart like 30 and 27mm or something like that. Third when you are putting the front end back together the difficulty with the 3 inch level in the front is that the with the weight of the truck off the suspension when you tighten everything back down it will run the upper control arm into the spring. Solution, use one of the jaw style spring compressors to hold the spring down while you draw everything up. Let it off (The control arm may hit the spring) But when you lower the truck it should be all clear, its tight though, about a half inch gap on mine.

I got everything I ordered. And it seemed like a good deal. Install instructions make it sound a little easier than it is. (My favorite, "Remove the leaf pack clamps" is their instruction, It should say "ie you need a good size pry bar and do yourself a favor and just take out the spare so you can get under and behind it to C clamp the leaf pack back together) Just look out for what I said in my post above and you should have it made. Goodluck my friend. Ill post picks of my truck soon!

I have an add a leaf in my 1996 chevy Z71 lifted 10 inches. I could not notice any difference in ride quality other than it went from stock to huge! but I'm sure being on a smaller truck and with the same size tires, the ride might be a bit stiffer. That is just what I've heard
