Do you have a factory hitch and a 4 and 7 pin wire harness back there?

You would also have a factory transmission cooler

Open the hood and check for the transmission cooler. It’ll be mounted in front of the radiator. Your factory hitch will be integrated with the bumper, not separately mounted.

A different cooler? The standard cooler is part of the radiator on the right side?

Can you take a picture of what the transmission cooler looks like?

On my truck, I have a black cooler sitting behind the front bumper, and an unpainted one sitting in front of the cross member behind the radiator.

Small one is probably the cooler for power steering you can follow the hoses . . My factory trans cooler sets in front of the radiator and I have a air conditioning type temp gauge stuck in it in case I need to check it . That's on my 05 screw with tow package .

Follow the transmission cooling lines and see where they go.
