There comes a time when you cut your losses and run. Unfortunately, your truck is not worth (in the market) the amount of money you have tied up into it. Either you make a decision to keep it and install a new or low mileage engine into it, or part it out, or keep the mods and apply them to a new truck.

211K is a good, respectful amount of mileage. I personally would not have that engine repaired, but instead, would apply that money into installing a new or low mileage engine if keeping this truck is your decision.

Think of all the other parts just besides the engine that still have that much mileage on them? What happens when the tranny, fuel pump, or whatever goes? I would take my losses and apply it to something I know is tight and solid with significantly lower mileage.
