Default Deep dish wheels...

I've recently seen a guy sunnining these wheels and with the deep dish, they look amazing (IMO). I was wondering if anyone knew if they still had that deep lip on a 9" rim or would i have to get a 12-14" to get the full affect? If I would need the 12-14" would it even be possible to run that wide of a rim without a lift? I have a 2008 XLT 4x4 with 2" level.

No the 9" wheels dont have a big lip. I have had the 20x12 and 20x14 wheels on my previous trucks with the 2" plus lip on them. In my opinion i will never do it again. Failed huns tie rods, cv shafts etc. the weight of those wheels paired with the weight of some 35x12.50s or 33x12.50s destoyed my front end time after time. Im sure others will may disagree but this is just my opinion. As far as being able to run it with a level. There is a thread that covers all tire fitments. Its like 1000 pages long but the info is in there if u read. I know theres a guy running 20x12s on 33s with a level and claims no rub no trim but ive yet to see how thats possible. I rub with 18x9s on 33x12.50 with 2.5" level on 05 kingranch 4x4.

Thanks for the input. They sure look good but if it's going to cause more problems than not, that doesn't seem worth it to me.

yes you can have that deep lip on a 9".
Have a custom set made with ridiculous offset and you'll have a deep lip.

Raceline and Intro aren't THAT pricey for custom wheel (~6-700$ each)
