Exclamation Death Wobble in Front End

So a few weeks ago I replaced everything on my front brakes: Rotors, calipers, pads, hardware. I drove it around around the day after, no issues. Drove it to work the Monday after, no issues. On my way to work the next day, i was driving down the highway and between 60 and 70 mph, the steering wheel starts shaking. Felt like an unbalanced wheel. It stopped shaking when I applied the brakes. So, I took it to the dealership, they said it was the wheels needing balanced. So, I got them balanced. On my way home, around 60 mph, it started again. Took it back to the dealer, they have no idea. Took it home and tore the brakes back down again, everything looked good. Rotated the tires, then it stopped. The next day, started again. I have no idea what the problem is and I could really use some advice in how to fix this issue. Please and thank you!!

Probably the ball joints. Have them checked.

Another possibility is that you goofed the alignment and now have toe in. At some point you can get harmonics and have the truck load one wheel and then the other causing erratic wobbling.

If it were your brakes the vibration would have likely gotten worse while braking. I would check your inner and outer tie rods for too much play especially if you have a lot of miles on your teuck

If if you have a sticking caliper, when it heats up a bit it will bounce the truck, feels like a really messed up tire with a bulge of whatnot.
Will come and go as you drive. Unless something is not tight, i cant see what else would cause such a wobble.

I have been chasing the same thing. I have done all of the normal stuff. Just did the sway bar bushings, sway bar end links. This did not fix the problem. Now am looking at drag-links. New tires fix the problem for about 4-5 months. Ford said, "did you know that you have a shake in your front end?" Yeah, they have replaced all kinds stuff on the front end but they obviously don't have a clue. They have replaced brakes, rotors, struts, ball joints, and upper right "A" frame.

I checked the ball joints and they are good. This truck has 125,000 miles on it and I do believe the tie rods and everything are still OE. It does seem to come and go but more often it is there. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I will be tearing this thing apart tonight.

Josh, Did you check for heat when it wobbles??
You would be suprised how common this is, one of you new calipers could be sticking a bit or you can have a collapsed flex hose.

I haven't had a chance to check it since I was on my way into work this morning when it started again. I will check afterwards though. If that is the case, would it be best to replace the caliper and hose? Or just the hose?
