Default Dead battery...again!

How much battery does it take to run the gryphon programmer and a USB port to charge an iPhone.. Sat in the truck for 17 mins then it wouldn't turn over... Did this on Halloween right after I got programmer. Any suggestions?

How old is your battery? An older battery won't have the same charge capacity as a newer one.

I have two batteries in my truck. Just recently had to change out the main because the cold weather killed it. I also installed a trickle charger that I plug in every night because I have a laptop and gps system that has to be on 24/7. Before the cold weather hit, I was able to go about 12 hours without my batteries going dead running the inverter all night. I would have your battery checked first, then if you have to purchase a new one, make sure to get one with the most cold cranking amps that will fit on your truck.

Sounds like a couple of the battery's cells have failed. If left alone it starts but won't if there has been even a slight draw, I would have it load tested. Many parts retailers will do it for free.
