I have ordered the 16" dual electric fan setup from troyerperformance.com and was wondering what DC controller i need to get? Well i should say which is the best for the overall performance of the truck?
1. FK85
2. WP85
3. 50P35

Ask the owner. He used to have a phone number posted, but he got bothered alot with phone calls, so he may have removed it. Send him an email with what you bought (or are thinking of buying) and he'll tell you. He's very knowledgeable and will set you straight.

 

I went with the FK50P. Be prepared to wait a couple of months from the time you order, though.

 

Dont order one. Wait forever and no customer support. I did it and won't do it again. I sell you mine though.

 

I ordered mine 3 years ago, came promply and is working great. Its the fk35

 

I ordered mine, waited over a month, complained through paypal, then after talking with him through the message board on paypal and saying that I still wanted it but was wondering what was taking so long, he refunded me my $. Worst customer service I've ever had.

 

The efans from Troyer have their own controllers; not aware they sold just the fans!

He has the best DC Controllers, bar none. Yep, he's slow; I waited about a month and a half for mine. I called him (when he had his number posted on his site) and we talked for about a half hour. He is involved with quite a bit of Mustang stuff, and his back is always giving him trouble, so he does not work lots of hours these days. He makes a few controllers a week. If your willing to wait, you'll get a controller that will not fail you.

If Blown Ford's is still for sale, buy his. Just make sure it's what you need; single speed or two speed.

 

Thanks for the input guys. I ended up buying the fan kit from troyer performance. Hopefully i can get stationed back on the mainland soon because the shipping for these mods is starting to kill me lol.
