For all of us with the useless tray on top of our dashes does anybody it modded with gauge pods or gps? Anything other than a hat holder. Pics are more than welcome

Funny you should mention this. I've been wanting to do something custom there for quite awhile. Like you I just kept 1 of my favorite Florida gator hats there but the sun has really beat it up. So what I've been wanting to do is, I have a nice size porcelain gator head and I would like to get it mounted in there by making a custom fiberglass pod for it.

 

My idea is to make a stand to hold my CB using aluminum strap. Probably 2"

 

I've tried looking through google and it's all gauge pods like Saleen makes but I don't have a supercharger so what's the point in extra gauges. Only real different ones are custom fit CB radio's and one unique Clarion center speaker (by far the best so far) so if anyone out there has something let's see it!

Yeah EBC-150, I like that too. What pods does it have and can they be custom-changed? I'd love to have a tranny temp gauge up there (even though Ford should have put one on the dash anyway)

 

Not useless to me - I use it to keep things in all the time....esp since my stereo space was taken by the DD DVD player...

 

I have a DVD stereo too but it's useless and holds my sunglasses and hat which is sun beaten haha. The pod gauges are cool but I don't know if I have any real use for them that's all
