Default in-dash replacment

2005 F150 Lariat.

I would like to replace the factory radio/CD changer with an in-dash unit that include navigation and possiblity an MP3 player / XM.

Any suggestions.

Thanks

Check Ebay...lots of double din type radio/GPS/MP3/DVD players for sale. Some in the $350.00 and less range. Just read the fine print, as some do not include the maps software and/or the GPS antenna....these can add to the "good" price you see.

And of course, let the buyer beware. Good that you are soliciting comments here. I'll be following this thread as well.

if your lookin for great sound quality with the possibilities of the following: ipod hookup, nav, backup camera, bluetooth, and some others.

I absolutely LOVE my Kenwood ddx512 or the dnx5120 that comes with the nav unit

look on ebay for either of them, great deals on new in the box units

any other questions feel free to pm me!

pioneer avic decks are nice, but $$$. wherever you buy from, make sure they are authorized dealers of that product, otherwise your warranty is worthless..

Thanks. One requirement I failed to mention is; I require the unit to cleanly replace the existing radio and fit perfectly (not look like an aftermarket bold on).

How does yours fit?

Thanks

I love my pioneer avic f700bt...its got everything you want and then some. I got mine for 400 then installed with the dash kit for 100...but if your good with electronics you might could do it on your own

that's good advice because i've had three pioneer decks and all three needed warranty work (one faulty screen, one for the cd player, and one b/c the buttons stopped working)

then i've had numerous amounts of kenwoods in my own vehicles, g/f's vehicles, and siblings' and NEVER had any problem with them, plus their excelon sound processors are AMAZING, not to mention their DAC's (digital-analog converters) are some of the best on the market
