Hi Guys,

The a/c control in my 06 F150 hasn't worked in months. I can regulate the temp but air from dash vents only.....no floor or defrost. Kinda figured the dash a/c control was bad. now that it's gettin on to defrosted season, it's moved up on the priority list.

2 weeks ago, I noticed the 4wd selector was ( accidentally) in the 4 high position. But no inducator light, Xfer case was not engaged. I played with the switch for a few days and finally , after the switch was "on" for 20 seconds, the indicator light came on and the xfer case engaged. I cycled the switch a few times and each time the light came on more quickly. finally got to the normal 1-2 seconds. then the next day, nothing.........no light, nothing. The day after that and every time I tried it since all seems normal.

Yesterday I noticed there was little or no air from the dash vents. I flipped the selector everything works like it should. Floor, defrost, dash air all seems normal

Would a computer diagnostic show anything about this?

Anyone ever have anything like this?
