Very nice work. I thought about doing something with my ashtray space since I don't smoke. Right now mine holds my garage door opener, but after seeing this I have new ideas. Thanks.

Also you can get the exact same kc style switches from Napa in red blue green and orange. Maybe moor colors but that's what I remember from my Napa store. The blue was way to bright though and whenever I had the switch on it'd fill the entire cab of my truck with blue light

I wish I' known that before. I don't have a Napa near by so I didn't think to look there.

Yeah once the switches are in and wired it holds it down really good and when I need to get to them I reverse feed the wires.

Alright I have seen this done before and I am planning on doing it to mine for my halos, interior leds, and possibly an under hood light and bed lights. Thought about just running screws down in to hold it tight

I don't think he did anything to attach the panel. I believe it just stays in with tension from the wires on the switches. That way it's easier to get at the back of the switches as well in the event you need to add accessories. Correct me if I'm wrong RyanD.

The panel is quite larger than the bottom of the ashtray, so it fits in place as it slides down on the ashtray. I fed the wires so they would hold the panel down because I wanted to be able to get to the back side of the switches easily. I went through the existing slits in the back of the ashtray and then (while keeping the wires in the ashtray housing) I fed the wires forward through the front opening of the housing near the torsion spring. Once you pull the wires tight, it puts force on the panel and holds it in place really well. Hope that helps everyone
