Default Custom Gauge Pod

I made a custom gauge pod for my transmission temp gauge. I added 2 switches and 2 USB charging ports (no communication). It is made from a used ash tray housing, some a oak wood (has to be a hard wood) and a piece of plastic which is painted black for the front plate.

This is my first project for my F150 and I hope you agree that it came out well. For anyone interested in making this, I can explain in more detail how it was completed. Just email me.

Can anyone help me with a part of it. I need to know what I need to do to hook up the trans temp sender to the transmission?

Here are a couple of pictures of the back of the mounting plate. I bought a USB charger from eBay (with 2 USB ports) and gutted it and put the innards on here soldered to 2 generic USB ports (from a broken USB hub).

The housing was a gutted ash tray that this was screwed to.

For the trans sender there is a threaded test port on the drivers side of the transmission. If you search on here you should find a pic of it. Remove that bolt and put your sender there.

what tranny do you have. if its a 4r70 or 4r75 there is a test port, a 1/4 npt fitting that you will unscrew and screw your sending unit into just forward of the shifting mechanism on the drivers side.
