Default Custom Center Console Build

Well I have been kicking the idea about building a center console for my truck for awhile now, and yesterday I got bored and started. My plans so far are to put an ipad, 4 cupholders, upfitter switches, a huge center console, and a 10 inch sub. One question that I have is what brand sub and amp should i go with since I am more than likely going to be putting better components and a headunit pretty soon?

Here is a picture of what I have done so far

I applaud this thread. I just finished venting about people not taking initiative and figuring problems, etc out on their own. You obviously took this initiative on yourself and figured out a solution on your own. Good job dude.

Amen. The above two opinions say it all.

Sorry I cannot answer what sub you should go with; that part has always been my son's catagory and expertice. Please continue to add to this post with your progress.

There was another guy on another section of this forum that did some great custom console work as well; he posted a bunch of pictures of his progress. Either someone here remembers this thread, or a search on "console" will bring it forward. He too added a sub and amp to the custom console.

Great thread! You're actually tackling a problem I'm having(trying to fit a sub/amp in our trucks)so I'll watch this with great interest.

I would suggest a think mount sub such as a kicker cvr (I think that's the thin model if your interested I can look in to it and find out more specs) then there are pioneer thin mounts, or kenwoods. Your gonna wait to have your sub at, at least 2 OHMs
