Default Could use some help with a headlight issue please

Ok for starters, I replaced my headlights with HID's a little while ago and they have worked great. Today I went to my truck and fired it up and my headlights are no longer working. No lowbeams, highbeas or daytime running lights (yes, Im canadian).

I already checked the inline fuse that is run to the set up off the battery and it is just fine (changed it just to be safe). I also checked all the fuses in the instrument panel that's associated to the headlights and they are just fine as well.

I figured if it was a bulb or ballast then only one would have cut out. I checked some of the connections and everything is alright... Is there any other things that I could check? is it the controller or something else. Thanks for any help that you can provide.

I would try unhooking one of the HID bulbs and ballast, and just put the regular factory halogen bulb back in. If it works then your HID's are the problem. That way you could rule out if it's your HID's that having problems, or your truck thats having problems

You could use a multi-meter (volt/ohm meter) and check for voltage at the connector that plugs into the ballast, or use a simple "test light" (a 12 volt bulb that lights up when 12 volts is applied).

If you do not have these, then you'd go back to the advice provided by BigDStarr. You need to rule out the truck or the HID's/Ballasts.
