Default Cortex tuner

I am looking to buy the superchip cortex tuner for my 2008 4.6. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this and if there would be a better tuner for around the same price.

How much are you getting it for? IMO the edge EVO is the best for our trucks and even better a gryphon from php with custom tunes.

If I were you I would look into the edge EVO or the gryphon with custom tunes, I have and edge EVO and I LOVE it! I'm still adding onto my truck performance wise, so I'm gonna wait to convert to the gryphon. But I strongly recommend the edge or gryphon. I got mine used with the dash mount for 250. Prolly the best thing I've bought for my truck so far,by far. I hear the gryphon with custom tunes is even better. Check out php on Google at like power hungry performance.com or something. As for the EVO check eBay, Craigslist, even on here

Since you first mentioned the evo I started looking into it. I have to say it's pretty awesome. I'm sold on it and I plan to get the evo when I get home today. So many people just have good things to say about it

The gryphon is/was an evo, with the aiblity to add custom tunes. Not able to custom tune evo. evo tunes are meant for stock drive train applications. The gryphon can run canned/stock tunes but can have custom tunes added.

^^X2. I got mine for $399 + $30 for the custom 87 performance tune. I 100% reccomend the Gryphon, check out their web site and do a search on here for it. Lots of good info around.
